Incorrect Information Shown in the WebClient

If you notice information that is out of place or outdated while using the WebClient it is possible that your browser’s cache is the culprit. The cache stores common data to make the browsing experience smoother, but sometimes this data may be corrupted or not refreshed correctly. Notable examples of this issue include the banner in the landing page or the background in the home page showing outdated images, or assets missing in your session (that other people can see in theirs). Follow these steps to clean your cache:

In Chrome

  • On your computer, open Chrome.
  • At the top right, click More(Three vertical dots).
  • Click More tools → Clear browsing data.
  • At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  • Select “Cached images and files,” checkbox.
  • Unselect every other checkbox.
  • Click Clear data.
  • Now try to reload the Webclient.

In Safari

  • On your computer, open Safari.
  • At top left, click Safari → Preferences (⌘ ,).
  • Goto Privacy Tab.
  • Click on Manage Website Data button.
  • Search for the Webclient URL.
  • Click Remove button.
  • Now try to reload the Webclient.
