Activate license Use the shipped license key file to activate Zoom server  
Check server JVM memory Settings Check JVM heap size settings in wrapper.conf & preview-server.conf  
Check Database folder disk space Ensure Zoom DB folders are on a drive with enough disk space for future growth as well as check-pointing & archiving  
Ensure appropriate preview converters are configured Based on media encoding requirements configure the converters. Import converters needed for 7.x if upgrading from 6.x or older.  
Setup HADR check-pointer node If HADR/ZNS is installed, configure HADR check-pointing   
Setup check-pointing schedule  Configure automatic restart frequency for check-pointing  
Ensure curator indexer is running error free Review curator dashboard, configuration & log files for any errors that need to be fixed to ensure metadata & content is indexed correctly.  
Ensure SSL/TLS is configured for secure access Check if SSL/TLS ports are working with appropriate SSL certificates configured for Zoom, Admin & Preview servers  
Check log rotation policies Check server log properties files for log size & rotation frequency  
Ensure Windows LogOn service account has write access to the database If using Windows Server ensure write access for the Zoom service LogOn account   
Insert Users Add users via Zoom Web Management Console or LDAP/AD (upto max allowed by license)  
Import initial representative assets into Zoom repository Using Zoom Asset Browser (VAB) perform initial import on a test project  
Test high-resolution visual previews For the representative assets, click on the preview option in VAB or press space bar in VAB to view previews. Confirm previews are coming for all supported file types.  
Test Web Applications on secure/non-secure ports Check if Web Client, Web Collection apps are working; check configuration changes to the Web Apps are setup correctly  
Carve out Projects from the existing files to migrate Using Zoom Web Management Console setup Users and Projects

Setup Active Directory or LDAP Integration (optional) Setup AD/LDAP integration to pull users & groups automatically  
Block non-SSL ports To ensure users can access only SSL ports, please check non-SSL ports are blocked via firewall rules

Test installation Before rolling out to the entire workgroup, use the Asset Browser to test repository visually. Checkout and commit a few files.  
Install Zoom Client software on all desktops, utilizing EZ  Setup EZ Downloader and EZ Updater to streamline Client installs.
