Zoom Client Upgrade (5.2 or greater)
Upgrade Instructions for Windows client:
The following instructions describe how to upgrade a Zoom Client installed on Windows 7 or newer releases. These instructions assume that you have downloaded the zoom-client-win64.zip from the Zoom Support Center.
- Go to Control Panel > Program and Features and Uninstall Evolphin Zoom.
- Restart the client machine. Do not delete .zm and Evolphin Zoom (working copy) folders. Old settings like server URL not showing up? See this FAQ for help.
- Unzip zoom-client-win64.zip.
- From the extracted Client folder run Setup.exe.
- Follow the wizard instructions.
- After the system restarts, check the Zoom Client Version.
Upgrade Instructions for Mac client:
The following instructions describe how to upgrade a Zoom Client installed on macOS. These instructions assume that you have downloaded the zoom-client-mac64.dmg from the Zoom Support Center.
- Run the Uninstall Zoom.app located in /Applications/Evolphin/zoom/Uninstall Zoom.app .
- Click OK to uninstall. Do not delete .zm and Evolphin Zoom (working copy) folders. Old settings like server URL not showing up? See this FAQ for help.
- Double Click the zoom-client-mac64.dmg downloaded from the Zoom Support Center.
- Double Click the zoom-client-mac64.pkg to install zoom.
- Follow the wizard instructions.
- Check the Zoom Client Version.
